Our wild  Vision

At Wild Hearts, we believe that true healing begins when you reconnect with your authentic self. In a world that often encourages us to hide behind masks and chase unattainable ideals, Wild Hearts offers a sanctuary—a place where you can explore, heal, and rediscover who you truly are.

Our approach is rooted in the profound connection between inner and outer nature. We draw upon the wisdom of the natural world to guide a deeper understanding of your inner landscape. By aligning with the rhythms of the earth and embracing the power of natural environments, Wild Hearts creates transformative spaces where you can feel safe, present, and whole.

We don’t focus on solutions or rigid objectives. Instead, we invite you to embrace the moment as it is—to uncover the beauty in your shadows and recognize the treasures within. At Wild Hearts, healing isn’t about becoming someone “better” but realising that you are already enough—vibrant, unique, and complete.

Our philosophy draws from a rich tapestry of inspirations. Grounded in Zen and mindfulness teachings, we are influenced by modern masters like Thich Nhat Hanh, Alan Watts, and Eckhart Tolle. These principles are woven together with Jungian psychology, focusing on deep exploration of the unconscious and the integration of inner shadows. Our work within nature—a cornerstone of the Wild Hearts approach—is inspired by forest therapy (Shinrin Yoku) and modern wilderness and adventure therapy techniques. Additionally, our coaching and therapeutic practices incorporate somatic approaches such as Somatic Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, and other body-oriented techniques like breathwork and autogenic training.

Through heart-centered therapy, personalized journeys, and immersive experiences in nature, we foster meaningful connections—with yourself, with others, and with the world around you. Whether you’re seeking clarity, presence, or a way back to your truth, we’re here to guide you on the path to rediscovering your wild heart.

Let’s step into the wild together, where authenticity thrives and true transformation begins.

About the founder

Ruben Carpentier

Hello and welcome,

I’m Ruben, the founder of Wild Hearts, and I’d love to share a bit about my journey and the heart behind what I do. My love affair with nature began when I was six years old, during my first encounter with the mountains. That moment sparked something deep within me—a connection that has only grown stronger over time.

I grew up in Belgium, spending much of my youth as a Boy Scout and sports enthusiast. At fifteen, I discovered rock climbing, and it quickly became more than just a hobby; it was a passion that taught me about courage, resilience, and the beauty of the wild. Later, I pursued a master’s degree in Sport, Movement, and Health Sciences at the University of Ghent, which laid the foundation for my career. But my heart always pulled me toward the mountains, so I moved to the Swiss Alps, where I completed my federal rock climbing certification in 2016.

Alongside my time in Switzerland, I was fortunate to work as a climbing and canyoning guide in the Spanish Pyrenees with an incredible organization called Easy Day. It was during these years that I discovered the magic of combining adventurous activities with mindfulness and the healing power of nature. This realization planted the seed for what would eventually become Wild Hearts.

Over time, I became fascinated by the depths of human life—what drives us, what connects us, and how we can heal. This curiosity led me to explore emotional circle work through organizations like HeartIQ and We-Powered, and I was blessed to learn from influential guides and teachers such as Christian Pankhurst, Tej Steiners, Nemanja Sonera, and Sumir Brown. On a more "meta" level, I’ve been deeply inspired by modern spiritual teachers like Gangaji, whose wisdom continues to shape my understanding of presence and truth.

But inspiration isn’t limited to the big names. My partner, Delphine de Crombrugghe, and our animal companions—dogs and cats—are my true life-gurus. Their love, intuition, and ability to live so fully in the present constantly remind me of what it means to be authentic and connected.

To deepen my understanding of the human experience, I dove into emotional coaching, personal development training, and somatic intelligence practices. I trained extensively in somatic psychotherapy, and I’m now recognized as a complementary psycho-spiritual therapist in Switzerland. But my education never really stops—I’m endlessly curious and inspired by the wisdom of the natural world and the people I meet along the way.

Wild Hearts is more than just a project; it’s my life’s work. It’s rooted in everything I’ve experienced, learned, and discovered. My hope is to guide others to reconnect with their authentic selves and to embrace both the beauty and the shadows within. If you’re ready to embark on that journey, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Warmly,
